Some tenderness or pain might be experienced during the session depending on the issues and severity of what’s going on in the body. This has not been a typical experience for my clients. I specialize in a non-invasive technique called spontaneous muscle release. Where the client feels little to no discomfort during the session.

More often than not massage is indeed covered by medical insurance. I have given clients receipts and they submit them to their insurance provider and are reimbursed. Always check with your provider to know what is available for you.
  • How often should I get massage?
Massage is great for the body. Getting massage regularly improves physical, emotional and mental health. People tend to take better care of the maintenance on their cars then they do their own bodies. Our bodies are our vehicle for life. The better we treat our bodies and address physical and emotional health issues the higher quality of life we will experience. I have clients who come weekly, bi weekly, monthly. Some come until they feel better and then they get on a maintenance schedule. It’s really up to each individual and their preference.
